Why work with me? I am a hobbyist photographer because I enjoy it; not to make money or charge high prices for my services. I just use the money I make to buy new photography toys! My goal is for me and you to have fun and create creative and memorable images.

I have studied advanced portraiture at the International Center of Photography in New York, and spent countless hours learning and practicing advanced photography and lighting techniques. I often use off camera lighting, which gives lighting quality that is not acheivable just using a standard flash.

My current camera is the professional-grade Canon 5D Digital SLR with 13 megapixel resolution. Using this camera with high-quality lenses, I can produce photos 20"x30" and larger. I have access to a professional studio that I use for some of my work. I also enjoy working outdoors to photograph people in interesting places.

All of my photos are printed at a professional photo lab which creates a quality and longevity not achievable at home or with discount store photo labs.

Half of creating a good photo is done with the camera and the other half is done in post-processing. After a photo session, I spend time selecting and editing the best shots to create exceptional photos. I use the latest in photo editing software to optimize exposure, color, and other aspects of the photo. Blemishes can be removed flawlessly.
